Overdrive Drain Plug Spanner,

In order to service the transmission fitted with the A-Type overdrive, it is necessary to remove the large brass or steel drain plug. It is often very difficult to remove since it seizes in the aluminum case. This tool is designed to engage on the six notches and provides proper leverage for safe removal and replacement.
